MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Bolt standars marks

Some time earlier this year someone posted a link to a bolt type head markings table / definitions page. I usually save these links for future ref but can't find it in my superb system. Searched the archive but can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I have a screw with hex drive (alan key type)snapped and I can't interpret the markings on it and I think its probably a wrong one anyways so the definitions and markings guide would be supa.

Cap head Allen bolts usually have the number on the side like 12.6 or something like that. They are generally of a much higher grade than S or T which is what you'll generally find on a Spridget.

Dave,

Is the bolt metric or inch. For metric they will typically be 12.9 but that is not a given for metric. The 12.9, 10.9, 8.8 etc designations are specifically for metric fasteners. For inch fasteners a cap screw should be grade 8 which is equivalent to 12.9 .

Thats the word Dave 'grade' - lovely - I just couldn't remember it and so couldn't search on line for info.
Its metric (off my day car), I know its M10 cos I got a clean nut that fits, and its the tensioner pivot bolt that has snapped off (again).
Can't wait to get midget going on road. Hopefully last set back with the brakes last weekend is the final one. Have the parts 'again' ready for weekend. In the mean time I need to fix day car to get SWWBO to her next work shift and out of my way so I can get on with the real car and finish it.
Thanks for all your help. Cheers Dave.
