Rob, I faced the same issue. Did my best to clean it up and fitted new seals. Lasted about five minutes. My advice is to buy a new one. I got mine from Past Parts. They restore originals by inserting stainless steel sleeves. Has been fine since. Neil

Rob. I use cellulose thinners to clean most things, works well for me.... Eats the rubber gloves though! Mark.

Rob, The dual masters are available since a couple off months. They werent for years and new old stock units were up to 450 euro's. Now I paid 165 euro's for a new unit. If the old one inst pitted you can try an ultrasone cleaner. The equipment opticiens use. Very good in cleaning parts. only a drop of detergent and voila. Bas
