Beautiful work.

Toby,

It looks like art. An exhibit in the Tate Modern perhaps. It must surely sound as good as it looks.

The usual dim question from me; Why over the axle and not under?

if it's under the axle and you lower the car, the pipe will foul on the handbrake linkage on compression i.e. in the bottom of dips. It's neater and maintains max ground clearance too.

Gorgeous, but your cylinder head has gone all funny!

Nope - will be firing her up in a week or so; still got a bit of plumbing to sort out..
Toby Anscombe

Let me know when and I'll come and video it if I'm around.

I fired up the K as soon as I had the ECU, petrol and oil pipes fitted. I figured there was no point getting on with the cooling system (fitting raditor etc) until the engine had demonstrated it could run... if the engine had a problem requiring removal, then at least I didn't need to drain and remove rad etc.

Anthony....

Thank you!!!

Thats why "Kieth Culver" recommends on break-in to warm up the engine without coolent until the head gets warm to the touch then add the coolent.

I never was able to put 2 and 2 togather till now.

prop...Duh, somethings are just to easy to explain...Prop

YOU will have to do "copy paste" into the browser bar for the following link to work

Sorry - the plumbing is the fuel rail and return line...

I'm not too stressed by the water side yet as I know that I will need some weird and wacky routing to get the hot to the top of the rad...

Free beer to those who come to help armed with a fire extinguisher ;-)

Looks good Toby. Good luck on the fire up...

Perhaps a bad choice of words, Mark :o)
A bit like me a few weeks ago - I was in a pub and a man with a clearly totally paralysed arm turned round from the bar in front of me, holding a pint and a glass of wine with his good one(fingers in the drinks), so before engaging brain, I asked him if he wanted a hand. He realised it was a genuine question, and politely declined. I went off in search of a very large hole.......
