Thanks for that Steve, another job to finish along with adjusting the hand brake cables, moving the speedo cable and trimming the quarter light to windscreen door rubbers.

Hmm. Don't remember seeing those before. I don't think I've got any. I'll have to go and check...
Andrew Noakes (1275 Midget)

NLA IIRC.

There's some acronyms to decipher!
Nick

Available from Moss. Just bought two but watch it they're sharp little blighters and I sliced my thumb open fitting them yesterday!
Matt 1275

Right..... thats it! my local supplier said moss didn't do them anymore. Sorry for the misleading comments.
Nick

Mine doesn't have those. Whoever built it (err, me!) just extended the rubbers a bit higher and tucked the loose ends in behind the padded crash rail.
Guy Weller

Guy, my midget has them and when we redid the interior, the factory had tucked the long ends behind the dash as well!
Clive Reddin 76 Midget

I suspect that the original fabric type seals would be prone to unravelling from the ends without them. Mine has the later style plastic / rubber seals
Guy Weller

I believe the correct finish is to have them slightly perished and adrift of the a-post so the last inch or so flaps around in mid air. You'll know when it's correct on a frog as there'll be almost a finger's width of clear daylight when the door is closed. This aids ventilation in the cabin and provides a useful channel to divert rainwater away from sluicing down the side of the car in an unsightly manner.
Jordan Gibson

I've had those for two years , now I know how they fit!
Thanks
Col.
