MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Midget Mk3 Door Seal
Can anyone tell me the correct diameter of rubber door seal for a Mk3 midget. My Midget was originally fitted with Navy blue trim but came without the door seals. I can't seem to source navy plastic seal only black and I've seen 2 choices of the rubber 'O' section 15mm and 10mm. Having measured the door gaps 15mm seems a bit on the large size. Any clues and possibly a supplier for Navy seal? Thanks

you won't get the correct door seals in colour, nobody makes it. Woolies are reputable for next-best-thing.

I had trouble fitting the 'plush/firry' stuff, (not sure of supplier) clip section did not work well- especially at tight bends and came unravelled at ends whilst fixing. Finally used the black plastic/rubber bulb material from Moss - worked well. Do not think Blue is avaialble. R.

Try 266 from Woolies. They will usually send you a couple of inches on request to trial. It grips well around the door aperture. Black only.
