MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Spridget master cylinder

Help.........i am rebuilding a dual master cylinder off a 1966 Sprite, does anyone know what the threads are that the pipes fit into? i have a feeling they are 1/8" BSP, the old threads are rusty and i want to clean them out but obviously do not want to run in the wrong tap.

standard non-metric (small) brake pipe thread but I cannot remember what thread it is

I think a five quid bet on 3/8 UNF would return a dividend though

Thanks guys, good job i didn't run the 1/8BSP tap down it then!! just for certain my 66 Sprite is not a frogeye but i guess the master cylinder is the same.
