MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Timing cover replacement problems
| Hi all , ive just replace the timing chain on my midget 1500 . I'm having a problem replacing the timing cover . How do i get the tensioner to locate infront of the chain while replacing cover ? your help and advise would be appreciated |

| The trick is to hold the tensioner back with your thumb, offer up the timing cover and sort of slide it into place in a sideways sense - ie get the tensioner held back by pushing the cover sideways against the chain. |
