MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Tow hitch for Midget

Hi all,
have been lurking for years but now have a question
regarding something I have not seen discussed before.

I'm thinking of adding a tow hitch to my de-bumpered midget 1500 to pull a small teardrop trailer.
Has anyone done this and if so, I would love to hear
the details.
I presume ( possibly wrongly ) that there are no 'off-the-shelf' hitches for a Midget.

there certainly used to be an off-the-shelf towbar for Spridgets, back in the 70s and 80s.

I'm (almost) sure I've seen photos on here of cars with tow bars in some thread or other, you could try an Archive search perhaps

I've just sent an inquiry to Waitlings regarding a towbar and which would be best for a de-bumpered 1500.
I guess I should get started on that teardrop trailer now ...
