MG Midget and Sprite Technical - 'Triumph' gearbox remotes
Hello. I've been tasked to make a remote gearchange for a pre-war Austin 7 and have been shown one using the main parts from a Triumph box. It is a piece about the same dimensions as the A-series remote (12 inch x 2 inch x 2 inch) so I was wondering if the 1500 box has one or is it lesser Triumph models? If anyone has one lying around... :o) Tas. Rob, in Cardiff. |

Like this one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-GT6-VITESSE-SPITFIRE-BOND-HERALD-Dolomite-1850-3-rail-overdrive-remote-/221238288847?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3382d461cf I did wonder if an MGB remote was a possible option, too. [And whilst I'm here, does anyone have a Reliant Robin engine and box???] |
