MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Type 9 Speedo cable length/routes

I have now got my type 9 g.box installed into my 1500 midget. I say installed..i mean its still work in progress.

On to my question, I have fitted a standard smiths angle drive onto my type 9 box speedo output so that i can use a standard speedo drive cable, albeit not a 1500 midget one. I was intending to route my cable forward in the tunnel then up across the rear of the bell housing and then follow the original route into the dash ie across behind the centre area. Has any one here any advice on suitabe cables, perhaps stock ones from (sorry lads Triumph or other cars), or suggested cable suppliers or lengths.

Thanks once again in advance.. this BBS is great.. I'm a regular reader one day I'll be brave enough to post some pics.

Cheers

Try Mike at Speedy cables, just tell him the length you want & he will make it.
