MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Wings

Just been offered a fibreglass bonnet for the midget at a bargain price. Originally I wanted a 1 piece flip front but I quite like the idea, and being a tight Yorkshire git it's cheap. Only issue I have is I want to be able to remove the wings quickly for maintenance etc. I know they bolt on but has anyone come up with a way of modifying them to be removable quickly?

I have a removable single skin fibreglass bonnet and steel wings and think it's about the best combination. Being able to remove the bonnet gives easy access to everything in the engine bay, no more back breaking fumbling to get to the heater, battery, dizzy etc!! You just have to be careful with what you do with your nice shiny bonnet - don't let it blow over in the wind like I did the other week!

I don't really see what major difference being able to remove the wings would make and though I think it would be possible to make removing them easier it probably wouldn't be worth it.

I might at some point fit a piece front end but I'm not a big fan of them. They offer very good access but can be difficult to get to fit nicely and are probably the worst option on a windy day!
