MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Yokahama tyres

A friend has just asked me if I know anything about "Yokahama A Drive" tyres. I have no experience of Yokahama at all so I can't help.
He wants to use 165 x 70s on his midget and it seems the only type at that size are the A Drive.
I said I'd ask on this board as I was sure somebody must know them?

They aren't the only type available at that size, that's for sure. I have Continental Eco-Contacts in that size on mine. Not brilliant but OK. There are others too.

I was given a set of 175x70 A-Drives on pukka Minilites. Too big, so they rub on my arches. I had to take 'em off, so I don't know if they're any good.
Jordan Gibson

run a set on 14" rims on a k midget VVC, good all round and hold the road with out to much heat in them,

Jordan, I'm sure that he knows they aren't the only tyres at that size, in fact he was talking about Dunlop SP1's as well, but he has used different Yokahama's in the past and really liked them.
Alex, taa.

Just bought some for my new minilites, picking them up from the tyre fitters this morning.

Fresh rubber for the weekend Sir, suits you Sir.

Brad (Sprite IV 1380)

So what are those Brad?
Max T

Max,

after your input, i've opted for Yokohama A-Drive, 165/70 R13-T's, not the A32R's i was going to get.
cheers
Brad
