MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Brands Hatch Easter Weekend

Brands Hatch Easter Weekend:

Who is going to Brands Hatch this weekend to see the MGs walk all over the Vauxhalls and everthing else!!!!

It will be virtually impossible to get all the Zs parked together, though a few of us are working on this for future meetings? I would be very interested to hear from any ZR, ZS or ZT ZT-T owners who are members of the MGCC or MGOC

Thanks
Kelvin

Coming in the 32 M-type?

Great to see such a span of MG history all in one household! :-)

I hope we can meet up!

Hi

Just to say - I'll be there in the EVO for the last time - making way for a ZT190. Or it could be the Trophy - depends on the other half.

I know I have a few of the above phone numbers - be great to meet all the new faces.

Jerry Flint

Who from this forum was there?

BTW, my photos available soon :)

It was excellent days racing, MG's looked good 4th in one 3rd if other and also led.

Shame about the marshalling to get out the track. 1.5 hours to get out, anyone else have problems.

Constructive critiscm - go back to your stone at your BMW dealership.

Glad to say I made the trip, lots to look forward to for this season. Drive of the day was Anthony Reids last to 4th closely followed by 3rd place in feature race. The MG's are hopefully going to find some more speed as the season wears on, so they can really challenge the competition. Hopefully see some of you at later rounds. Kelvin, great pics seen elsewhere, what camera do you use. Wanted to get a Canon digital body to go with my EOS lenses but thus far price still out of justifiable price range. Does anybody know whether MG plan to bring the trade stand to any events, besides Le Mans? Just spent the last hour washing the Brands dust off the car, could hardly see out of the rear window on the way in to the office this morning.
Pete

Where can I see Kelvin's pics please?
George Hunt

George there will be a page with a full selction soon, Im working on it!

What I can gather the MG's will get better as the 2 works car raced at brands are last years cars with a few improvements. It will be these cars raced by the Atomic kitten team. Due to the Lola problems the 2002 cars got delayed, I think they will be ready next race.

Oh yeah like anybody would be rsuhing to get blackmarket reproductions of this paltry crap. Get your hand off it.
Jonesy

Kelvin - take no notice of that cretin - the rest of us appreciate your input - at least you make some positive input and I've yet to see you try to rubbish the efforts of others.

Thanks for the pictures they are much appreciated - I am using the one as my wallpaper. It would seem that Jonsey is another MEGA type character with no real interest in MG but who takes pleasure in being mildly abusive (see also mp3 player link). One day he might grow up.
Chris

Peter Chris, well said. I have seen first hand Kelvins work and it is very impressive.

Take a look at this link for 2 FLYING EX260's. :) :)

However, not to detract from his comprehensive BTCC photography. Take a look at the Clios as well - they are very photogenic..
