MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Friend with £15,000
Hi guys, im migrating over here from the F forum to ask a quick question :) Friend of mine has come into about £15,000 and fancies a ZT-T. Hes a photographer, so does a few miles, so isn't going down teh 260 route, but fancies a 190. Anyone know of any deals he should take advantage of? He's found an 05 plate 190 for £15k, does that sound reasonable??????? Cheers Ian |

Depending on the annual mileage, he might want to consider a CDTi? I have one of these, and it is proving to be a fairly economical workhorse - and certainly a good deal cheaper to run than the KV6 powered 75 we owned before it. 15k goes a long way in the MG range at the moment. An '05 ztt190 for this money seems reasonable - not outstanding - value for money. If it has all the kit, then go for it IMO. Will be worthwhile searching the internet sites to see how much similar vehicles are currently being advertised for. |

The photographer that did work for totalMG bought a ZT-T CDTi after spending time in one during a shoot with Phil Raby. I think he had a Freelander previously. Seemed to be happy with it, especially space/security wise for the camera gear. I would agree with Rob given that I do 20k odd miles per year in a ZT160 V6 at approx 23-28mpg as opposed to the 40+mpg a CDTi offers with more torque than the V6! |

and the diesel is a BMW engine. Also it is simple to upgrade to top BMW spec giving even more torque! |
