MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Key help needed

Our 'family' car is a MG ztt.
I rang my local dealer to enquire about a spare key.
They quoted £95 plus vat for the key and £75 plus vat for labour to 'programme it in'. They admitted it was quite expensive!!
Any suggestions how to get a cheaper solution?
We lost a key thanks to my wifes bag being stolen while shopping in town - could claim on car insurance but its the principle... plus losing my no claims bonus.

Pass. But the transponder and key is very similar to that used on the BMW Mini (no surprise there really) - so it might be worth an ask there...

Otherwise, I am not sure what other options you have?
