MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - spare wheel

I'm about to purchase a 190 ztt+ from a ex pat dealer in Spain. He informs me that the ZTT+ models did not come with a spare wheel, yet the car jack etc is in the wheel well. Can anyone advise if this fact is true as I find it hard to believe.
Also does anyone know where I can get a sat nav disc for the car for Spain and Portugal?
Many thanks in advance.

On most of the models the spare wheel is an optional extra - they are provided with an 'instant mobility system' (can of gunk to fill the tyre) by default. The ZT260 does not have the option of the spare wheel, as there is no space.

Yep, if you've got a jack and brace in the boot then it looks like someone may have taken the option of having a spare but it's now not with the car. Easy to replace as they come up on Ebay regularly.
As for the Sat/Nav disc, the one that is supplied from MGR is a European Disc, Portugal and Spain are covered.

IMS (Instant Mobility System) was rolled out across the whole range of cars from 2002. IMS being the can of sealant, 12v air pump and bits in a plastic box. It was then progressively replaced by the cheaper large aerosol cans of sealant and propelant that reinflated the tyres. ZT had two of these.

Spacesaver spare wheels became a cost option and a full sized spare wheel an even greater cost option. In both cases jack, brace and tools were included.

In the case of a full sized spare care has to be taken to ensure that the tyre fitted is a non directional one.
