MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - ZT Steering

I am getting a slight play in the steering of my ZT. which is causeing the stearing to shake at high speed
(not balancing of wheels as had cheaked and ok.
Problem is as i turn the steering wheel the wheels don't turn stright away, then can feel the wheels turn (at all speeds). Problem really shows up on slight uneven roads and the steering is thrown all over the place. The wheels are not turning in direction i want them to as soon as whe steering wheel is turned thus causeing delayed movement.
Sorry best i can describe it.

Has anyone else had same problem or do you have any idea whet the prob lem could be as my mg garage doesn't know.
