MG MGA - 1955 MGA Style Le Mans Seats

Hi, have just returned from a very wet Silverstone, not without significant electrical problems (but that's another story). On display was the fantastic 1955 MGA Le Mans car. Does anybody know if the original bucket seats are available anywhere and what would be involved fitting them to a standard 1500 model?

I'm fairly certain that the seats in the EX-182 (prototype MGA Le Mans racer from '55) were Microcell racing seats. I'm not sure what they have in the replica, but I would be keen to see pictures, if you (or anybody else) has any.

Frank Graham here in the U.S. has restored a Twin Cam coupe that ran at Sebring in '56 (I think) which I believe has the same Microcell seats, though with a different upholstery pattern. He posts here somewhat regularly, so hopefully he'll add his comments here.

Speak to Bob West. He owns the Le Mans car, and am sure he does replica seats. 01977 703828

Hi James
If you email me I can send you a photo of the seats in the Le Mans Car at Silverstone.
