MG MGA - Changes in tail lights

Is there a site that lays out the changes in tail lights through the years?

I haven't been considering the purchase of a later model because I really don't like the body mounted lights. But, I saw an A advertised as a '61 and it had fender mounted lights, so I'm a bit confused.

Thanks.

Maybe an appropriate question for this thread....were the early MGA 1500 tail light lenses made of glass?

Graham,

On that website that you quote, in the Twin Cam specification, it says that the Twin Cam has maximum power at 9,700 RPM.
At that RPM you would have a connecting through the side of the engine block!
