MG MGA - chrome head light rim

On looking at my head light rims one is taperd from the wing to the light glass and the other is more bull nosed? as one of them is damaged I orderd two replacements.
Thought this was a good idea as I would get the right pair without asking dum questions!
Well here's the dum question,I now have two new headlight rims one taperd and one bull nosed!
I have been back onto my supplier he told me to send back the wrong one or both ..
well thats fine but now i want to know whats right, any Ideas?

Ian,
The ones on my '57 are aftermarket from Moss. I believe they would qualify as the bull nosed variety if we are thinking of the same thing. From the wing forward they are fairly straight and the bull nose radius takes the diameter down to the smaller size of the headlight to fit over the chrome bezel.
MGB rims are sort of a large radius from the wing forward and then a bull nose radius at the end that fits over the headlight bezel.

Thanks Ralph
I think what confused me was the line drawing in the parts book It looks like it is taperd, and when its on the car it follows the line of the front wing.
thanks again

Ian,
My Coupe is all origional and the headlight rims are the origional brass coated with chrome. Mine are "BULLNOSE". Gord

Thanks Gordon, there is absolutly no doubt about what rims I will be fittin to the car.
This list is worth its weight in manuals
