MG MGA - Electrical problem update

Last year I posted this message..."The lighting is all messed up. The car has a new wiring harness. I've got a schematic a manual, and a test lamp, but have not attempted any diagnosis yet. Here's what I've got...
With the car running and the headlights off, both brakelights work, the right front and rear turn signals work, the turn indicator on the dash works, but when I turn on the left signal, both left and right flash in the front and rear.
With the car running and the headlights on, both running lights work, both tail lights work but appear bright. Applying the brakes makes no difference in the brightness. The right front turn signal works, the left does not. Neither the right or left rear turn signal works.
The headlights work ok. Both brights and dims."
I got several responses from you folks, and just today I got time from my basement remodeling job to work on the car. I've got it all straightened out. The wires on the rear lights were backwards, the left front bulb was a single filement, the right front turn signal problem was corrected by bending the points a little bit in the relay. This point work was a little tricky, I hope it stays corrected.
Sorry for the long post. I'm excited that I got this fixed myself. I learned a lot. Thanks for your help!
