MG MGA - fuel filler extension needed

I have a Monza-style fuel filler cap that I want to install on my '59 coupe. Its a period piece I found at a swap meet that was used on a racing MGA. It has a 2 inch long extension tube, and the same diameter as the fill tube of an MGA. It came with the MGA type rubber flex tube, but I don't know if it was attached to the standard fuel tank filler neck, perhaps a fuel cell was used instead. I would like to source an original filler extension piece (the Moss repros are quite pricey). I don't need one with the gas cap. I want to cut the extension tube below the cap and then weld it to the Monza 2 inch extension to get the angle to the standard gas tank correct. I'm reluctant to cut up my original fill extension tube. Does anyone have one they are willing to part with (willing to pay of course)?

Thanks!
George G.

I suggest you go to an exhaust fitter and match the existing tube.

Barry, the tube diameter is not a problem, I'm trying to get the angle of the tube, just below below the fill cap, correct. Using original parts will be the best way to do this without a lot of trial-and-error using cardboard patterns.

Thanks John, I'll follow up on that. Want to ask if rust has penetrated the metal, I'll contact the seller.
Thanks!

Thanks Dominic, I'll try for the ebay one and repost if I don't get it.

George,

I have one. You can have it for free. Just pay mailing costs. Email me your mailing address.

George,

Or I can give you the angle of the joint in the tube.

Thanks for the offer Peter. I sourced one from ebay, I will contact you after I receive it if its not suitable (may have rust issues).

Thanks!
George G.

Peter, I would like to take you up on your offer. You have email.

Thanks, George
