looks good value at the starting price....

Looks good - Go for it Jules - it's on your side of the pond. Shipping could be prohibitive for UK.

That's my unit that's for sale. If anyone is interested, I'm happy to discuss via email.

Hi Andy

dominic clancy

Thanks Dominic. I did sell it, but outside of ebay.
Andy Bounsall

So I have to ask, why did you sell it Andy?
gary starr

Gary, I sold it for a couple of reasons, but mainly to help fund my new project...a 1954 split screen Morris Minor Traveller.

Andy Bounsall

Thats nice Andy,it doesn't look like you need much for it.I have a habit of bringing home stuff thats pretty used up.
gary starr

Thanks Gary. It's a pretty solid car but the PO was either cheap or didn't know that you can get proper replacement parts. There are quite a few things where he improvised or made do with whatever he could find. Lots of little things to attend to. It'll be a rolling restoration.

It's actually somewhat rare as Minors go. The Traveller was introduced in October 1953 and were only built for 1 year with the split windscreen, "cheese grater" grill and early type instruments. This one was built in May of '54. I'm not sure of the numbers, but apparently there weren't very many LHD examples produced so this one is fairly unique.

Very nice Andy!

They are very rare, even over here! I have a 1956 Series II saloon that I use as my every day car (except when there is salt on the road), totally original and never welded. If it was an MGA in the same condition it would be almost priceless! Instead, with its 803cc engine it's almost worthless (but not to me)
