MG MGA - Master Cylinder Lockheed for renovation

I have just replaced the master cylinder on my car as a routine service item after 25 years of ownership. It has always had silicon fluid in it, and the bores are still very good, with no pitting, and there is no rust inside or outside. It is a great deal better than most of the refurb candidates on fleabay. Given a light hone and a set of seals it would again be perfectly serviceable - it didn't leak before either. It has a brand new 1500 top and lid off the replacement cylinder - my car uses the 1600 domed cover.

It's too good to scrap, is anyone interested in it? I can load some photos if anyone wants to see more details.

Hi Dominic,

I will most certainly be interested in the M/C if I can use it in my car. I have been thinking of replacing my existing one for the last year or so. If you need my details, email address, home address, etc., please let me know. What is the cost please?

Are you the Dominic Clancy that has the Twin Cam that appears in the MGA book ? If so, I really liked your colour of Woodland Green and am just painting my 1500 Roadster the same colour...
Just thought I would mention it...

I am in the book, but,my car is a OEW 1500 roadster, not a green twin cam it does have a superchargr and a few other mods that make it a bit faster than a standard twin cam though.

Frank,if you are not in a hurry.,I can post it from Germany which is rather a lot cheaper and saves you customs too

OK Dominic, I am not in too much of a hurry. I shall be pleased if you can save me some of the postage costs. Please go ahead and post from Germany, no problem for me, I can wait. Many thanks & happy new year.
