MG MGA - MG Chill Weekend

Hi All

Don't normally post on here - insane jealousy would get me down as I'm only allowed to drive an MGA SOMETIMES ... booohooo!

However, in the interests of getting the information out, Peter Burgess is organising an event with a slight difference for MG owners - a break from competitiveness, here's his post and the website - including links for information about the activities:

The location is pretty cool and the food and drinks are being well organised - as well as over activities - but mostly it's just a general get together and have a break sort of do - where, instead of spending the weekend with heads under bonnets trying to eek out the last drop of go - we can actually have time to look at cars and talk to each other.

Tickets are selling quite quickly so best to book in early - the weather is bound to be good - can't be anymore rain left up there to fall :)

Sounds like a damn good event...something along these lines I may try here in Oz, but no stately homes unfortunately.

Ha Steven - one could always fly over for the weekend - after all - Peter does need a volunteer for battering in the medieval fighting display :)!!

A field is as good as a rest Gary! I think that having the limit on numbers and the idea of the relax is good though - makes it possible to breathe .... which, I know from midget50 - just didn't happen as it was so frantic - I'm really looking forward to it :)
