MG MGA - MGA rear brake linings

I'm thinking of having rear brake shoes relined, as I run out of snail adjustment even on brand-new shoes. They are 10" drums. Can anyone tell me what thickness of lining to specify please?

Simple fix for rear brakes is to pack the adjuster with a piece of 1/16th steel. worked for me . Sean

Vin, is that tack welded to the adjuster or just held in place by the tension of the spring?

Andy, yes just a tack on each end
