MG MGA - Prodigal Returns
Well, I was thinking of putting a V8 in an MGA after having done a B and seeing other A's with V8's. These are tempting and sensual conversions. But I was continually haunted by my memories of my youth and my first car, and MGA 1500. How nice I thought it would be to return to those simple times. I am humbled to say that I have returned! Last week I acquired a 1400 in reasonable but not running condition. I towed it home on its own wheels (a 500 mile journey) with no incidents. The car will be restored with using a warmed up engine to the way it was in 58. My apologies to all of you that I may have offended with my previous plans.

Malcom, I guess that is a typo, well maybe not as the crank is broken in this engine and it may really be a 1400. It is actually a 1500. Was old english white originally. Probably end up being black as that was the color of my first car.

James Is yours the red 1500 listed under the name Jim Pulaski? What is your VIN# ? The 3rd digit tells you the original color. White is R black is A.
