MG MGA - rewiring question

Have rewired the dashboard and threaded the main harness through the wirewall. I need to complete the wiring of the voltage regulator, fuse box on the heater panel next to the firewall. Is it worth removing the heater housing for access. Also , any tips when it comes to wiring the dimmer switch. I guess the access from the harness is near the brake cylinder.

Hi Michael. Removing the heater box would likely make the wiring a bit easier. But it certainly can be done with the heater box in place. To make it easier, install the wires on the voltage regulator, fuse box, and flasher unit BEFORE bolting them to the firewall. Best of luck. Glenn

The dimmer switch cables are both part of the dashboard wiring loom. They will be marked on the wiring diagram.
