MG MGA - Separation Anxiety....Help!

After rebuilding both "F" sections. I've removed all (?) 27 fasteners holding the body to the chassis and can only lift it about an inch off the frame before it seems to hang up near the bottom of the "Goal Posts". Is there a trick to this separation or have I missed additional attachments?
Thanks,
Doug

Problem solved. Lift up the rear section slightly then the front comes off of the frame with a little shake...whew.
Step next will be welding up a rotesserie from large diameter electrical conduit using a telescoping lally collumn for the hinges. I was going to use a pair of engine stands, but the height won't be sufficient to fully rotate the body. I'm too old for contortions.

BTW, the Moss sill & pillar repair panels fit very well.
Thanks,
Doug

Doug,
If you take pictures of your rotisserie, I would appreciate seeing it. I have that job on my car, and while I won't be starting it for some time, it would help me when the time comes.
Thanks.

I'll be happy to. Once I'm done with it, I'm considering making it available to regeonal club members. The plan is to build it in transportable sections. I may also do a set of CAD models & drawings.
The design goal is home construction requiring a metal cutoff saw, MIG welder & drill press. I've worked out a way to join round tubes using short lengths of angle iron rather than "fishmouthing" joints.

Doug,
I take it by the statement that you are using electrical conduit that it is 'rigid' conduit, and not emt?

Mike,
I,m going to use the galvanized 1.5" stuff typically used for the main service drop from the pole. It's got abour a 3/32" wall.

Doug,
EMT is the thinwall conduit generally used in non Class 1 areas. I believe that the galvanized stuff is also used as water pipe. I just wanted to be sure, since EMT can't hold anything up. Thanks. :)
