MG MGA - Still have carb problems part 2
Decided to reset the cards, when I seperated the throttels I noticed the noise was only from the front carb, and the noise is coming from the air intake of the carb Any more ideas? Russell

Can you describe the noise? Neil
Neil McGurk
It is kind of a deep throated growel. If it was a bif 4 barrel it would sound right at home. Thought at first it was a cracked exhaust manafold.

You need to have them making the same noise. A piece of tube stuck in your ear, with the other end in the middle of the carb throat is the way to go.
dominic clancy
You may have a leaking intake valve on #1 or #2 cylinder. Do a compression check and check valve lash adjustment.
