MG MGA - Twin Cam Register

I presume that there is a register somewhere of mga twin cam cars. I've been told that the car on a certain UK registration is/was either an MGA twin cam or a MG ZB model. What's the best way for finding out which?

I've looked on the DVLA site but the car, if one still exists, is not currently registered. .......................Mike
