MG MGA - Urban camo ...

Well just thought i'd post a pic of my body tub...

not far now from having the tub in primer..

We have spent ( Me and a Mate ) two days making the bonnet fit ( the whole front left quarter has been rebuilt) as the car has had some Bodged crash repairs done to her..

I have a rolling chassis ..the engine is ready to install but sitting on a dolly at the mo ...

lots of stuff ready to fit , seats, Interior , etc..

That light at the end of the tunnel is now just visable ..

Oh ho ....Lets try and upload a pic again ...

Wish mine were that far ahead! And I hope that light is not a train coming the other way.

Wow, it looks like a car! Some day . . .

Ken, your tub is just about in the same state as our mate's, C.V. I have a feeling that your's and CV's A will be on the road at about the same time. Well, what can I say, the work on your body looks good. CV's body has been done by his brother-in-law, and he has done a very professional job indeed. I will ask him to send you a pic some time.

Your car is in an advanced stage as in photo. I presume you will take it off the chassis again for the spray job? As regards my chassis all is fitted except the fuel tank, and the body tub is almost ready . We have a slight problem in that the captive nuts for the screws of the shutface panel do not align with the space to put on screw. We have not done much over the past month but I have been promised by my panel beater that he shall start working on the body again probably next week .
Having seen your photo I would wish to put the body on the chassis before spraying to make sure that all fits well although I must admit I never thought about this until I saw your photo.
Keep it up and hope to see you soon.
