MG MGA - WV Twin Cam

In 1986 or so, we bought two roadsters, a coupe, and a barn full of parts for $500. It was a steal, I know. There was most of a Twin Cam engine along in the deal. It was sold to someone in CA for $700; another bargin. I was just curious if the purchaser was out there and if the engine was reunited with a car. Did anyone out there buy a Twin Cam engine from a guy in WV 20 years ago?
