MG MGB Technical - Dumb? overdrive switch question

I just bought a new overdrive switch and wires for my upcoming overdrive conversion. The wire ends and where they attach to the switch do not match.

See photo. Am I missing something?

The wire ends in the photo have sockets that go into a plug of some kind. Cheers - Dave

No - they DO match!!

The wire ends have a slot in them nad this fits onto the small blade connectors at the side of the switch.
