MG MGB Technical - Installing body patch panels

FYI:

If anybody out there is contemplating surgery to
repair rusted body panels on their car - there's an
excellent "how-to" article in this month's
Classic Motorports magazine.

November 2004 (issue # 111)
(Project Modern midget: Chapter 7)

Although here it was done on an MG Midget
the skills and tips illustrated in the article are
general enough to be applicable for just about
any car.

There is some good info on this site as well:

Check out some of the picture "albums". The site loads slowly; be patient.

I'm in the midst of some cutting and welding on my '67 GT. It is time-consuming, but worth making the car structurally sound again. Not to mention that it will no longer have gaping, rusty holes in it. -G.
