MG MGB Technical - Lower front end on the right

After replacing the coils springs on both sides on our 1979 mgb roadster, it still is lower on the right by approx. 1.5 inches. What could be the cause? Thanks Mark

When you replaced the coils, did you have all the bolts for the A-arm tightened? If so, you might want to loosen them a bit and bounce the front end several times then retighten the bolts.

Mark, When you say lower on the left, do you mean the driver's side or passenger side? It seems most cars here in the states are lower on the drivers side. Mine sits about one inch lower now but, I have been working on it and expect to get it straightened out within the next couple of weeks. I will let you know if I am successful.

A problem at the rear can be reflected into the diagonally opposite corner.
