MG MGB Technical - Overdrive relay ?

My newly bought GT has a problem with the overdrive. When shifting into 3rd the overdrive is permanently on.
I suspect the relay to be the problem. Can anyone tell me where to look for the relay (save me some time looking for it :-))

No relay on a 72, just a manual switch (and the gearbox lockout switch of course). If you have the American padded dash this is on the wiper stalk - push the switch away from you to disengage OD and pull it towards you to engage. UK dashes still had the crooked switch at that point.
