MG MGB Technical - Propshaft for 4synchro & Banjo Axle
I am racing a B GT and am trying to reduce weight. I want to fit a banjo type rear axle to a 1971 car with a 4 synchro non-overdrive box. I believe that I will need a 29" propshaft (Flange to Flange fully closed). Can anyone confirm this please? The car had it's 1st Class win on Sunday! |

R.L.- With the 4-Synchro transmission use the 30.25” driveshaft (propeller shaft) (Victoria British Part # 5-5921, Moss Motors Part # 268-080) when using a Hardy-Spicer Banjo rear axle. |
