Steve,
I would suspect that you need to replace your front (both sides) brake hoses. When they get old, the interior passageway swells and limits fluid flow back to the master cylinder, causing that wheel to drag and pull at times.

Steve - If you are refering to the MGTF 135 or 160, you will probably get a more reliable answer from the MGF board. If your TF is the vintage 54/55 TF, then you want the MG T series TD,TF board. Cheers - Dave

Steve,
Sometimes pulling to one side (to the left in your instance) can be caused by a poorly functioning brake on the opposite (right in your case) side.

If the LHS brakes seem OK check the other side also.

Cheers , Pete.

Hi.

Are the leading edges of the friction material all properly chamfered ?, lack of this can cause grabbing.

I suspect the RH caliper. Remove the pads and clean the caliper slots out well, clean the sides of the pads. Check that the piston can be moved easily and then check the guide rods in the caliper bracket to ensure that they slide easily. Remove them, clean and refit with copper grease. Smear a little copper grease on the sides of the pads and on the face where they contact the piston and caliper to prevent squeal then put it all back together.
