MG MGB Technical - Rev Counter misreads
My rev counter misreads and never goes higher than about 3500rpm. Can it be adjusted to be fairly accurate, or do I need a new one? Seems to be accurate over the lower ranges, but it's inaccurate at higher ranges. Would electronic ignition also cause it to read incorrectly? |

David...Did you just add the electronic ignition? You didn't say what year your car is. Did the problem just show up or has it always been there? Steve |

Steve, The Car is an mgb roadster, 1973. The ignition was already on the car when i purchased it. AFAIK, the problem has always been there. |
