MG MGB Technical - Reverse idler gear


I'm in the midst of having a LH overdrive transmission (1972) rebuilt. The reverse idler gear is badly worn and I'd like to replace it. It seems these are like 'hen's teeth' to find in reasonable condition and I understand they're no longer available new.
Any suggestions?

The reverse idler is part of the gearbox - I doubt ORS will have one but I may have a good one in the store - I'll have a look later.
