MG MGB Technical - temp guage strangeness
| The temp guage shows cold. The radiator is hot, the heater matrix isn't blocked, she has a new, tested theromstat, no air bubbles in system as far as we can tell so I guess it's the guage. Suggestions anyone? Adam. |

| If it's the dual GAUGE it is capilliary, only thing you can do is replace it on an exchange basis. If the single GAUGE, with the ignition on briefly ground the green/blue wire at the sender in the head. If the GAUGE moves smartly upwards the problem is the sender. If it doesn't it could be the stabilised supply to the GAUGE is missing (test with a voltmeter on the light-green/green), the green/blue between GAUGE and sender is broken (try grounding the green/blue at the GAUGE), or the GAUGE itself is faulty. |
