MG MGB Technical - Tow Bar for chrome bumper MGB
Does anyone know where in the UK I can source a Towbar for my chrome bumper MGBGT?. The MGOC list one in their accessories catalogue but they have no stock and won't have any more until they sort out a new manufacturer. In case you are wondering, I don't intend towing a big caravan, just a small motorcycle trailer.

I've got one I've just taken off a rubber bumper car, Don't know if it's the same / adaptable as the C/B cars. E-mail me for more details. Phil

Barry Check out Barney Gaylord's site <http://users.ntsource.com/~barneymg/>. Go into the site and check out the MGA hitch. Same set up should work on a B. I plan to use a similar one on a C. Larry

If you're still looking for a towbar then I've never used the one that came in the boot of my '73 BGT. It's complete except for the actual towball itself which seems to be a bolt on fitting.

Paul: Methinks you're on the wrong thread. If you happen to be lurking though, look in the archives. This item was just covered.
