MG MGF Technical - Cleaning Vader

This is not a post about how to clean darth vader!

Has anyone ever cleaned a vader kit? Do you need to?? If so is it like the K&N filter e.g. you need a cleaner and an oiler?

Can you just use K&n cleaner products or is there any better/cheaper stuff out there?

Chris the Vader is a stainless steel woven construction so just wash out in washing up liquid.
