MG MGF Technical - Headlight failure

I have just bought a mgf and was silly enough not to check to see if the headlights are working. I have inspected the fuses in box and all look ok. I have changed one bulb to check and still no light. I have been into a Rover garage and still no help. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be??

Is it just the headlights or all the lights,(side front rear) ?

I have side lights and full beam lights but no dipped beam lights.

I can't get to a wiring diag at the moment but fairly sure that main & dip are fused seperately. Possibly even left/right.
