MG MGF Technical - MGF Suspension servicing in Tasmania?
Does anyone know who has a hydragas or hydralastic pump in Tasmania where I can get my suspension raised to the correct height? How complicated is it to make my own pump? Has anyone tried? |

There must be people who work on the old Mini's and 1100's they can do it. I take my F to a Mini specialist as do most of the F owners in Melbourne. |

Thanks for your reply Andrew. I bought my MGF in Melbourne and before bringing it back on the 'Spirit' ferry I got Andrew McDowell at mg workshops Mulgrave to check it out. Great bloke and good people, but not cheap! As you suggested I have hunted for and found a BMC specialist, Phil's Garage at Spreyton, who sounds OK, and a lot cheaper. Terry |

May be once a year you might have to get it pumped, rember it sits lower in the colder weather than in summer. So in Tassie it is always lower, only joking, when we were over for the national meet the weather was great real MG roof down motoring. |
