MG MGF Technical - The new TF?

Dear all,
is the mgtf a new MGF or is it a totally new model for itself?

BTW,
Does the fan get extremely hot for you other F'ers when having the roof up and windows closed or is it cold as ice?
Philly

The TF is an extensively modified MGF with coil sprung suspension, and body mods to increase torsional stiffness.

The fan blows warm through the face vents in hot weather on my car Philly.

Depends if you have air-con!

I do not have an air-conditioner. It takes ages to go from let say, warm to cold but from cold air to warm goes within a second. Even if the fan is turned off, warm air slips through and becomes terribly annoying when cruising topless in sunny weather. This is dangerous for my drivings license and it is making the life insurance payment to increase. Because for me to get rid off all the hot air I need to drive fast, at least 50mph in the city. This will make the cops/bobbies come after me. The lying policemen are a bugger aswell.

Cheers Philly
Philip

Philip,
The heater works by pouring hot water thru the heater matrix, the hot/cold knob varies the speed which this water flows- if the fan is off and the heater is even slightly on then the heater matrix will heat up to the engine temp and blow hot air, so if you have the fan on the air will come out cool. If you cannot switch to cool then there might be something wrong with the valve - there is information in the archive about this.
