MG MGF Technical - turning to the left...

when steering to the left, when i turn the steering wheel to the left until the stop, i noticed that the tire exterior edje contacts the plastic that cover the wheel ( dont know the tchnical name)...is this normal? i just got the car, and when i drove it for the first time i felt so unsafe that i went to the wheel alignment twice...so the car is aligned and have never crashed...so is this normal?
Bruno Valadas

Bruno, you hold me quite busy :)

So, I've job for you tonight.
Do you see the link in th upper link row to [FAQ] ?

Give it a click and you'll land in Greg Hiltons FAQ. Enough best stuff for the rest of the night :o)

You'll find an advise to heat up the plastic whell house cover and bend it so far, that the tyres will run free.

This occurs normally only on MGF with 16' rims (standard is 15'). Do you have this ?

Good night
Dieter
