MG TD TF 1500 - 1953 MG TD Tire Size
I own a 1953 mg td, is there any tire I can buy in a regular tire store that would fit my car? |

165x15. Kumho and other Asian tires are available from places like Tire Warehouse with a little pushing. They don't generally have them in stock, but can and will order them for you. Tom |

Thank you Tom, do you know if the Vulcan Tire Sales Company is a legitimate company? |

Don't know them, but I doubt they have anything of interest. The number of places to get these 165's is ever-shrinking. I use the local Tire Warehouse, and have excellent service. As I mentioned, you have to push the manager to find tires in that size. Also see the recent thread about tire pressure. Tom |

I recently bought a set of Kumho Power Star 758 165/80 R15 87T tires on line from tires-easy They were delivered to my door in less than a week. Total cost, including shipping, was $243.11. No complaints on my part. Check http://www.tires-easy.com. Learned that tires-easy is Delticom North America from Portland, OR. The tires came from Latrobe, PA. |

IMHO the Kumho's are the best all-around tire, balancing performance and price. Tom |

I've been running Hankook tires (165r-15), this year, and have been quite happy with them. |
