I've got 1,000+ miles on the cap, but I'm not one for selfies. Maybe somebody out there might have captured the cap and I in Middlebury, or at Steve's event in CT. Bud

LaVerne,

Was this a one time deal or are these badges still available? I missed them when you offered them before.

Jack a fellow in our group had a new batch made from a different vendor. With some slight modifications. I believe he has quite a few.

MG LaVerne

Thanks, David. I'll send a copy along to LED (but I'll probably rotate it). Bud
Bud Krueger

Thanks guys...I copied it already Bud...rotated and cropped. It was either that or use the one of you I found between Kate Upton and Cameron Diaz I found on the net yesterday :-)

MG LaVerne

LaVerne: Could you send me the contact information of the fellow in your group that had a new batch made. I would like to purchase one.
Thanks, Louis
L.M. Levin

Will do Louis. If I copy and paste your email just as it shows, will that get me to connected to you?
MG LaVerne

LaVerne, please have him add me to the list. There's room for another badge. Bud
Bud Krueger

Soon as I get back, will post my pic.

Hey LaVerne

Sorry I am so slow but my car was up on the rack in my garage, and just got it down today.
Here is one picture, and will send a closer look on next post.

MG LaVerne

LaVerne, are those badges dated? PJ
Paul S Jennings

This is the working drawing and what was used for the badge. I've got a picture somewhere on the PC but I can't find it right now.

MG LaVerne

Jack my e mail is in the post above...just send me a note and I'll pass it on.

New Nuts badge arrived today. Wow!! It's a work of art. Very impressive. Only problem is to devise a means to mount it on a horizontal badge bar. Bud
Bud Krueger

Here is how I mount mine.
I just happen to have a sheet of 1/16 brass to use.
Double nuts space the adapters
The badge bar clip is DESMO from Abingdon Spares.
The Whitworth Nuts badge is on the right.

Here's a picture of the "new improved version"

I agree Bud, but it's what we wnet with as we have a variaty of British iron and many have no possibility of the bar.

MG LaVerne

Oooooo.... yellow & black!
I want one!
I'll put it of the TF, and put the green one on the TR!
David Sheward 55 TF1500 # 7427

Bud,
"means to mount it on a horizontal badge bar"

I used some rubber coated cable clamps for mine.
Don't recall where I bought them, (maybe tractor supply?) Had a whole box of assorted sizes.

I'll put up a pic of them tomorrow.
David Sheward 55 TF1500 # 7427

It's "tomorrow" :
Used 2 of the rubber coated clamps like the one resting on bumper.

David Sheward 55 TF1500 # 7427

Very clever, David. I should have mine mounted by sometime tomorrow. Bud
Bud Krueger

La Verne,

A few local contributions. Funny thing about the plate. He just got this on the road after decades of putting it off. These are the plates he got. They just come out of a pile. What are the chances ? Told him to go back and complain because he put a 1275 in it. :-)

John's TF Wearing the bug badge of honor when he came down here in June.

MG LaVerne

Maybe I should have cleaned that up before you took the photo LaVerne, but it does give some idea of what the TF picked up along the way from Olympia, WA to your place. Still very fond memories of that visit. Next summer? Heard from Calvin that the new badge is on its way. Now I'll have one for both front and rear.....cool.

That's wide on the Bug Eye plates!
1971 we got "GB 948" for ours ...same deal, next plate in the order. Actually "947" came up but I waited for almost an hour for someone else to buy a plate as they would not sell out of succession.
